Conference Keepers

Hey yall! Half days are coming up really soon and that means that the lower schoolers need conference keepers. On November 4th and/or 5th come to the cafeteria and sign in. While you're there, just play games with lower schoolers or help them with their homework. It's really fun and easy community service. The times are right after school (12 o clock) to 4 pm. You are welcome to leave to go to your conference on Thursday whenever you want!

If you wanna help, just sign up on the sheet when we put it up on the Key Club bulletin board outside the front office. Also, you can email Perry at pdubow@ravenscroft.org or call 919-946-8077. Thanks!

Hoops of Hope - Date TBD

Hoops Of Hope in Main Arena and Back Gym

Hoops of Hope was started by a middle schooler in Arizona, where Austin Gutwein (goot-vine) decided to shoot free throws and raise money. 100% of all money raised goes directly to select projects to care for orphan children. Hoops of Hope is privately funded and does not take any administrative fees from what is raised by participants.

This year they will be raising money to build a medical clinic in Chilala, Zambia, provide 450 bicycles and 750 mosquito nets to AIDS Caregivers in Sinazongwe, Zambia, build dormitories for the Jonathan Sim Legacy School in Twachiyanda, Zambia and build 10 care centers in Swaziland.

At Ravenscroft, we will raise money by team registration, onsite food and drinks, and donations.

Teams can register in the commons with Emily, Luke and Sean on Wednesday - Friday.

Volunteers are needed for set up and food sales, sign up later in the week too!

Getting the blog going

Hi everyone this is Alex, the webmaster for keyclub this year. Right now im just testing out the blogspot website.

My idea for this blog is that all officers and project head will have access to the admin account and will post updates on activities using this site. My ultimate goal is to make another web page, that will update with this one, that is accessable using web browsing cell phones.
