Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina - Students 12 to 17 years of age are welcome to volunteer with a parent/guardian (could be one parent for a few kids) during normal volunteer hours. 18 years of age and older do not need a chaperone. Shift times are Tuesday - Saturday 9am-12pm, 1-4pm and Wednesday evening 6-8pm. Arrive with your permission slip 5 minutes before the shift begins. See these FAQs.

- August 16th. Carolina Hurricanes - Kids n Community Foundation's 24 Hour Bike Challenge at Athletes Performance with Raleigh Orthopaedic. Last year we grew from 140 riders to 280 and raised over $25,000 for KNCF in the 24 hours. Volunteers will do registration, general clean up, refilling water coolers, trash patrol etc. http://www.apcraleigh.com/
